tldr version A handmade device crafted to order. The owner accommodates special requests and interacts well with clients. It is a solid product that looks like genuine handiwork—not flawless, but nicely detailed. My purchase was exactly what I anticipated; I recommend it for these reasons. One drawback: the owner takes summer off, so delivery might be slower. He communicates clearly about timelines, so you’ll know ahead of time if there are delays. Custom made chastity device priced at €160. Long version. About me. I am a grower. My size ranges from 1” to 8”. I have tested several products ranging from CB series models and silicone to the Holytrainer v2 and various steel devices. I also tried Fetish Felix’s LoveJail. The issue I face with all ball-trap styles is when my flaccid length hits that 1” mark, I slide toward the back of the tube. This causes nighttime erection issues because it pushes the device (and everything trapped inside) about 8” away from my body. I tried various tricks, but it remained too uncomfortable. My order. I ordered the ZZ Cage from Red Chili. Specifications: 70mm tube length, 40mm diameter, 6mm gap, Secured Head, and a 45mm oval base ring. I special-ordered the Z connection ring at 35mm. My goal was to have a tube with a grip point directly behind my glans to keep my penis inside even when it tries to retract. First Impressions. It has been a while since I wore steel, and I had forgotten how great they are. Opening the package made me very happy; it is a beautiful steel toy. There was some welding grease residue, but it washed off easily. The included padlock is good quality and smaller than any other in my collection. It came with a nice drawstring bag and chain belt. I washed it immediately and tried it on. After adjusting (bending the weld points to fit the head better), slipping into it felt fantastic. Product quality. The welds are smooth, and the device is well assembled. It has all the imperfections you would expect from a handmade item (welds are larger than usual; one bar on the top left of the cage is slightly longer or bent at a different angle compared to the right side), but these do not detract from its beauty or function. This is truly an art piece. The pins fit perfectly, so there is minimal movement between the tube and base ring. The pin-on-top design creates a smaller profile*. It also keeps the lock body from bouncing against the cage (and the skin trapped within). However, the hasp does ride on the plate connecting to the pins, making some noise when walking around with very loose or no clothing. *The lock protrudes noticeably and makes distinct bumps. Not through jeans, but in tighter, smoother garments. Hygiene. Steel device with rings and bars—easy to clean. I have showered with it and worn it for several full days without issue. The longest time I wore it was 2 days with two showers; no problems at all. Comfort. Well, my anti-slip design was a bit too loose (more on that later), but otherwise, it is very comfortable. With the oval base ring, I can go one size smaller than an O-ring, making it almost uncomfortably snug, though this causes no issues once the folds are smoothed out. Initially, the head space felt small. Using the base ring to pry the Z connection open a bit resolved this. The CB2K-style tube reminds me of my first toy, which is fun. It assembles easily and is straightforward. Security. Yes, we all know the story: penis can be pulled out. However, with my chosen configuration, the testicles cannot escape. The tube entry ring is 40mm, and the oval base ring sits 6mm away from it, creating a very snug fit. I did not try the chain belt and do not plan to, as I find it impractical; however, when locked on, it likely makes pullout difficult enough that it isn’t worth using. Notes. Before ordering, I took measurements using the website guide. Based on this, I should have ordered an 80 or 90mm tube, but knowing my own usage patterns, I chose slightly smaller to allow room for growth without being so long that a small flaccid size would slip past the Z ring. Regarding the Z ring: I used to own a Gates of Hell device that fell apart, leaving me with some cool multi-sized cock rings. I had previously worn a 1.25” ring behind my glans and knew it was the perfect fit there. Unfortunately, this size equals exactly 32.5mm, which falls right between Red Chili’s 30mm and 35mm options. I tried wearing a cord sized to 30mm found it too tight, while the 35mm trial felt slightly loose. Aken offered me an Imperial-sized ring if I could recommend a vendor, but I didn’t want the hassle, so I stuck with the safer 35mm size. Ultimately, it performs as expected. Most of the time, I am positioned perfectly in the tube, though several times per day I do slip out slightly. It is easy to readjust without removing the device due to the bar spacing. The Z and head pieces were not exactly how I imagined when I first saw them. Because of the ring size and shorter tube, Aken left less head space at the end than expected. I had planned to reorder but decided to try prying it open a bit. Conveniently, I could squeeze the base ring in the gap and slowly open it until there was enough room. On the positive side, after discussing this with Aken, I learned that parts can be ordered individually if desired. The only other issue is edema. Wearing the device one way causes swelling at the top of the foreskin; wearing it another way keeps it retracted under the frenulum. This is typical for any new device: just be careful and not get too carried away initially. I caused no damage, and things returned to normal after a break. Sleeping. Well, this is the first device where fitting properly before bed prevents “pain” during nighttime erections; there is more uncomfortable pressure than pain. There have been nights where I made it from evening to morning without removing it. My anatomy simply struggles with ball-trap devices overnight. End I am happy to answer questions about my experiences with this or other devices. Bottom line: for a custom-made-to-order toy, the price is justified. Living in Europe, I paid €160 at checkout plus an additional €28 import tax upon arrival (though that was not Red Chili’s responsibility). No device is perfect or 100% secure, but this style comes close to ideal. Knowing your own anatomy and past experiences helps ensure the device works for you. TeasedEd Followup: It has been a while since I wrote all of this down (apologies to Red Chili), and I am finally getting around to posting about this awesome toy. I wear it at least 2-3 times per week for about 8 hours each. With a kid and a wife who isn’t into this lifestyle, that is manageable. Some observations: The longer I wear it (over multiple days), the less often I slip back in the tube. Once I found my optimal wearing method, edema issues disappeared. It still looks great and remains super comfortable. I took a waistband from some underwear and added a loop to hold the lock upward. This fits closer to my body and reduces the profile of the lock bump. A cool side effect is that it makes the tip stick out slightly more, giving the appearance of a larger package in pants.

Hi Thank you for providing a review of the ZZ Cage. I am also very interested in purchasing one from Red Chili. I like how the hasp connects to the ring. I am curious: have you had any concerns with the gap on the head? Do you wish the bars were slightly further apart so urine spray isn't an issue, or does it seem fine? Secondly, did you consider the Sissy Cage? I go back and forth between ordering the ZZ Cage or the Sissy Cage. Both have similar designs; the only difference I see is the angle of the cage. Is that correct?? Regarding noise from the lock, I am also considering choosing a screw mechanism over the padlock. My only worry with the screw is whether it will become loose over time, whereas the padlock would not.
