Do any of you have advice for a beginner trying to get this thing on? So far, I find the best approach is using a shoelace: tie two half-hitches around the head, then guide Madame’s toy through the cage opening until I can grab hold. Once I do that, I pull the whole cage down to my base, leaving about an inch sticking out. Afterward, I fumble with the base ring until it clicks into place—oh, and lube is essential; I use plenty of it both after securing the shoelace and during the tug-of-war, which brings its own mix of good and bad sensations.

Does anyone else have tips for a newbie? I tried using frozen peas and an ice pack but didn’t see much improvement. I do eventually get it on, though, so maybe I’m missing something?
