Hi, I’m seeking better ideas for delaying the removal of a key. I’ve used Emlalock before, but often one person remembers the combination from the photo when they really want it. We also tried freezing the key in water, though hot water makes that easy to bypass. You can actually scan or photograph the combination without looking at it. Upload the image and then delete it. Also, time release safes aren't hundreds of dollars! You can find a timer "kitchen safe" for around USD30. (review here) Other solutions: - Leave the key in your car, parked somewhere else. - Keep the key at work! - Mail the key to yourselves. - Create a rivet for your device using "polymorph plastic". It's a material that softens into putty around 60 degrees C. Easy enough to insert. Removing it takes an hour of fussing with a hair drier and a damp cloth over your bits so they don't scald. Obviously, this is best for longer lockups. I dare you.
