Chastity and orgasm denial discussion

Hello, I’m wondering about chastity, though worried it might cut into my ability to make the most of my main strength: intellect. Here’s the core of my worry—I currently benefit from women making fewer demands on me than they perhaps would ideally want, because I tend to stay pretty much in my own mental bubble. This allows me to carry on with what I do best, which is thinking about things (and that’s exactly my profession). If I were locked up by a female KH, it would be good for me if this also brought us emotionally closer. But besides that—and the sexual/D/s/teasing side of chastity—being locked means (gasp) I’d have to become more in tune with her emotional needs too. The thing is, while I see the appeal and fairness in this at a personal level between my KH and me, it worries me on a broader scale that I might have less attention left for what I’m actually good at—my intellectual work. To put it another way, if I were in chastity, shouldn’t I worry that I’ll always be worse at being emotionally attuned to my potential KH than I am at the intellectual tasks I no longer give enough time to? A single KH might see the upside from her point of view, but if my concern holds true, the benefits of my (perhaps undervalued) intellectual work would drop, and that cost spreads out across society (literally, through me paying less tax due to lower earnings). Can any males or KH help clarify whether I’d have less energy for my mental work while locked? Thanks.
