I have no objection to anyone purchasing a Goethals belt, but pausing before acting (or spending) usually results in better choices. I've invested heavily in Goethals belts (owning two of them), and I wouldn't even part with them for free. A few weeks ago, I cut them into small pieces and discarded them. If you are deeply involved in serious chastity play, especially if you prefer steel—which signals that you are dead-set on it—avoid buying Goethals. I am currently living the dream I once thought impossible: 24/7 lockup for several months now. Naturally, with Neosteel! I switched to Goethals (carrara) because it was convenient at that time (being based in Belgium) to visit there and have a belt made. I somewhat regret…quite a bit. It’s not as if these belts are terrible, but there are certainly superior options available. Think again. Regarding security and definitely quality: the belt is incredibly heavy. If your back isn't made of reinforced concrete, expect an unpleasant surprise after just a few hours, let alone days of wear. Goethals uses hinges. You must keep them lubricated; otherwise, they start squeaking at their worst, or clicking due to normal wear and tear if you neglect the grease (which helps mitigate this issue). If you enjoy turning heads with wonder as you walk by;-) Near the hinges after a few months of use, the lining will rip—a perfect recipe for skin pinching later... not to mention the truly painful pinching of even a tenth of a mm of scrotal skin that protrudes through the small openings in the cage holding your testicles... The tube is (or was?) constructed from several parts welded together into an arc and painted on the interior. After some months, the paint peels off, leading to bruising from the +/- 5 to 6 welded segments comprising the tube. And I could continue... Since I personally traveled to Germany (Neosteel), I deeply regret spending money on those two carrara's; I could have been in chastity belt heaven for ages now. Cheers Bathingcaplovers
