Introductions discussion

Hello CM Members I’m Rob and not great at introductions, so here goes. I’m 52 years old and have been with my wife for 35 years as of February 4th, 2018. We’ve been married for 30 of those years. Yes, high school sweethearts since we were 17. I feel very fortunate because our creativity in the bedroom has always matched what happens outside it and never ceased. There are plenty of toys (Woo Hoo) and both my KH and I have swapped between dom and sub roles within the bedroom. We dabbled with swinging for a brief period when we were in our 30s. We aren’t vanilla at all, but the Queen—which is what she prefers now; I started calling her mistress early on, but since she liked the title of Queen so much that keeping me happy meant sticking to it—my KH leans more sub than dom. Though if she gets into a dom mood, watch out. This is something new we’re trying and I’m not even entirely sure how we stumbled into it. I think we just bought all the toys off the shelf and this was left over. Once I saw it though, my mind started wandering with fantasies. A quick look at some blogs and we were set for a fun journey. It’s no walk in the park. I’ve found that total commitment is essential because getting used to your device initially can be more than just a challenge; frustration often comes along too. Think of it as an entry plaque you have to earn. To us, this isn’t merely a bedroom toy but a mindset shift. When trying devices that don’t work well for you, there are periods where you pause to try something else and restart your mental approach. Also, I need to stop complaining about the gadgets. It doesn’t always help… Well, I began with one called a vise. That had its problems before moving on to the classic CB6000 then 6000s. None fit quite right though. It was disappointing because I never felt as close to the Queen when wearing this setup compared to others. I got lucky finding a blog that pointed me toward Mature Metal and they made me a custom unit. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. The product quality is excellent, the fitting is bespoke, the appearance stays permanent, and its weight constantly reminds you it’s there. This time around my cage fits perfectly; I just undersized my ring slightly which left some sores that are now healing. MM was VERY responsive in getting me the next size up and I’m eagerly awaiting a restart. I believe I finally have what I need. YEA! I’m wearing a Queens Keep (nothing to do with my KH’s choice of names, but when she saw it she said ‘that’s the one’), so again pleasing my Queen is top priority and I can’t wait to keep her happy! Thanks
