I have been part of this community for over two years now, and it has served as a mostly friendly, welcoming, and helpful place. I would never have succeeded in this lifestyle without that support, and I truly enjoyed connecting with other members. It was great receiving messages from people who liked my journals and found my experiences useful. However, something has shifted. In recent months, I’ve noticed the time I spend here dropping significantly.

I’m not sure why. The chastity life doesn’t bore me, and my FLR remains as strong and clear-eyed now as when we first acknowledged its true nature. My Wife, Elle, has been unwell for over a month still recovering from severe weakness and fatigue that kept her from fully enjoying or participating in the chastity side of things, yet she never forgot about it nor failed to benefit from this dynamic. (Even after two years, we view this as a new chapter in our 30-year union.) She is eager to start playing and exploring more again and has been very pleased with how much care and attention I give her.

I’m not blaming the community membership or claiming posts have become less interesting compared to last year; it’s simply that my personal joy in reading and interacting has leveled off or vanished entirely. Yesterday, someone wrote about what ‘real chastity’ means, suggesting everyone else was merely playing around. In the past, I would have jumped into reply, but this time I just scrolled on. Although others praised me for being sensible, I see it as a problem—I didn’t care enough to object or present my counterpoint.

I don’t even get annoyed by the obvious fantasists anymore—the ‘yesterday I told my wife about needing chastity, today she bought a device, locked up my penis, threw away the key and all my underwear, made me wear knickers, and licked her to three orgasms because it’s brilliant’ crowd. They used to irritate me; now I read two sentences, recognize the pattern, and click away. Gradually, I’ve stopped bothering with threads that signal this possibility.

The truth is, I no longer care about sharing details like how many orgasms my Wife has had or how they happened, or how long I’ve been denied, or exactly how Elle teased me. These things still occur, and we cherish them. My Wife enjoys far more orgasms now than before we began this journey, showing no boredom with any of it. Why would she? I am so fortunate to have her as my Wife and Mistress. She is the single biggest reason our lifestyle has worked.

I hope this doesn’t sound like a complaint. Honestly, I am delighted with how my life has evolved; chastity has been transformative for me, changing everything. Perhaps I wrote this because I realized I might be at the point where many former members arrived. We often discuss what happened to all those old regulars—why did they leave completely or stop posting regularly? For me, it isn’t about stopping device use or remaining chaste; far from it. It’s just that I feel less compelled to share every little detail of our daily lives.

This place has been wonderful, and I reiterate my opening thought: I would never have reached where I am without it. I appreciate the help and advice received and like how things have developed lately.

Like you, I’ve been slacking on giving detailed accounts of our adventures. Obviously (wink) I haven’t reached my limit regarding ignoring the “real” way of doing things. Actually, I was thinking along similar lines and wondering why myself. I noticed that I mostly report just so I can physically verify my orgasm count lol. I do know some reasons. Several members who joined or became active around the same time as me have stopped posting. Some used to provide very detailed accounts and thought-provoking questions....now....there are only so many ways to explain buying a cage or talking to your spouse about holding your key. Another reason is that while we all do this differently, there’s growing intolerance toward anyone who doesn’t embrace the full female superiority theme. Online mistresses and subs have really taken center stage. A woman here, an honest-to-goodness female who enjoyed being a keyholder, complained about someone asking her to be his keyholder without getting to know her or obviously reading her profile (although he was polite and not acting like a jerk), and most people felt she should have been nicer—either letting him down more clearly that she didn’t want another sub, or ignoring it as the price of being wanted. I couldn't believe it! I’m not saying he needed to be nailed to the cross, but her annoyance at a stranger’s first interaction asking for a personal relationship wasn’t out of line at all. It’s like hanging out in an adult store and politely asking every woman who enters if she’d like a relationship... well, she had it coming; she was in an adult store, so she should just say no if uninterested. I was stunned by how most people responded. And finally, we’ve reached normalcy with chastity such that reporting our exploits is getting repetitive. I’m not bored experiencing them myself, but reading that “she got off and I didn’t” probably isn't very informative anymore. We haven’t stopped experimenting at all; she still surprises me, especially through her words, though it’s become more subtle and harder to express. I haven’t quit, but I’ve noticed I haven’t logged into chat in a while. My usual welcome is now quite brief, and I miss the retelling of our exploits unless I receive an O so I can keep track. I hope it's just a lull and some couples return.
