I’ve spent the last few years diving into Chastity play. Like a lot of others, I began with the CB3000. While it caught my interest, I felt there was more to discover. Over time, I experimented with several devices:

• Lori #9 paired with PA – solid construction and good quality. However, I missed getting precise measurements; the tube diameter was too tight for extended wear. The PA lifted up, leading to edemas (which I’ll detail later).
• Mature Metals Bird Cage – a decent design that felt comfortable. Easy enough to clean, but it opened up more than I preferred. It allowed me to stimulate myself into an orgasm.
• Steelheart II – top-notch craftsmanship and a lovely device overall. The PA fixing mechanism pinches just a bit too much for my liking.

And there were a few others as well. I mention all this to show that I’ve put in both the time and money searching for the ‘perfect one’.

As noted, the #9 from Ms Lori is indeed an excellent device. I suspect I chose a tube diameter that was too small, which, combined with where the PA fixing sat, created problems. Within days of wearing it, swelling would appear at the tip of my penis. Additionally, there was tension on the PA. When I took it out, the piercing often had a tiny tear and slight bleeding. The swelling needed several hours to subside, and the tear required time to heal properly. Ms Lori did her best, servicing the device multiple times in an effort to meet my needs. My PA sits quite far forward, which made it difficult for us to make it work with that specific tube. The narrowness also made nighttime erections painful. On top of that, I dealt with UTI issues due to the tight tube. To be fair, I was only off by about .125”.

So, I opted for the #8c in a straight design, slightly wider, and worked out a plan with Ms Lori regarding the PA placement. This meant sending her photos and measurements. Note: if you order a similar setup, discuss the PC (pubic curve) and entry hole location with them. I also added ‘extra’ bars to the tube to reduce penile stimulation.

Ms Lori met her production timeline for delivery. Naturally, I wanted it sooner, but she delivered well within the estimated window. Once my device arrived, I opened it up quickly. As expected, the workmanship is lovely—no sharp edges, nice and smooth. I’ll note that nothing else I’ve purchased matches the polish and smoothness of the Steelheart II. That said, the Ms Lori beats out the Steelheart in terms of function. The Steelheart uses a PA fix that goes into the tube and wraps around the tip of the penis through a segment ring secured via the PA. This fixing has loops that wrap around bars inserting into the cock ring section. That’s exactly where I felt significant pinching with the Steelheart. With the #8c, there is no such pinch point. The PA stays very secure thanks to its security bolt, and another bolt holds the tube to the ring.

How does it feel? Fantastic! No pinching issues at all. I find the #8c much easier to keep clean. Also, the PC acts as a guide for urine flow while peeing. You ‘could’ stand up to urinate with this device—I suppose. The tube is now sized correctly. This means I can’t fiddle with it enough to reach an orgasm, and morning erections are ‘bearable’. Yes, they still wake me sometimes, but I don’t need to blast cold water on myself to stop the erection from building. I can just sit up, calm down, and let nature take its course.

Is it secure? Let’s start by saying no ball trap device is completely escape-proof. But yes, the #8c is very secure. The Steelheart can be bypassed with a flathead screwdriver to break the brass lock. Yes, you’d need extra locks, but escaping isn’t hard. Ms. Lori’s security screw is unique; I wouldn’t even know where to look or what tool tip to use for it. With drills and tools, though, one could pop out a screw (check my other post about Loctite). If you want maximum security, apply Loctite RED to both the PA security screw and the ring’s security screw. Then you’d have to destroy the device to remove it. That level of effort would be quite challenging and risky if you catch what I mean!

I’m fairly active—I cycle regularly over distances most people consider long hauls. I ride 200-350 miles a week year-round. Finding a device that works while allowing me to keep cycling has been tough. The #8c handles this well. I do use quite a bit of chamois cream, but it does the job. I’ve done 3-4-hour rides without any issues so far. I’m not sure yet if I’d wear it for rally-length rides, but we’ll see. I don’t run much, but with a supportive jock strap, I see no reason why I couldn’t run while wearing this device. I swim laps often, especially in winter, and have zero problems with that activity.

Since receiving the device last month, I’ve managed 10 consecutive days of wear without taking it off. Previous devices didn’t allow me to stay active like this simultaneously. Literally put, there’s no ‘need’ to remove it now. I haven’t encountered anything requiring cleaning or inspection that forces a removal. Next up is a 30-day test run. Assuming that goes well—which I expect it will—I believe I’ve found my perfect device. This means no limits on how long I can stay locked up. At this point, I just hope my wife opens up to being my keyholder now that the right device is here. I’d happily hand over the ‘keys’ and let her control future releases.
