I’ve tinkered with a few Stainless Steel gadgets and stumbled upon an excellent method to check the inner diameter of a new tube, avoiding the cost of buying the wrong size!

  1. Begin with the gadget you own (Stainless steel is best) that appears slightly too large in inner diameter compared to what’s ideal. It works best if it has a length that suits you well—for instance, one of those budget-friendly Chinese tube gadgets often comes with a 1 3/8” ID. I’ve found the sweet spot to be a short, solid stainless steel tube, sized down as much as is comfortable, paired with a slightly larger “Head” section featuring bars, similar to what you see on typical Lori’s devices. This setup forms a sort of “bottleneck,” preventing the gadget from sliding off entirely; the head remains mostly open and just big enough, while the shaft stays gently snug due to slight compression within the tube.
  2. For around $10 at Amazon, you can pick up this great material called InstaMorph. It was simple enough to mold a thin, even layer inside my stainless cage’s tube by hand for a smooth finish. You heat it in hot water to 140 degrees and then shape it into smooth plastic forms. (One user actually built a full prototype chastity gadget using this material, complete with an A-ring, tube, and PA fitting). InstaMorph - Moldable Plastic - 6 oz by InstaMorph Link: You can likely mold it just as well (with a little extra work) in gadgets where the tube consists of multiple stainless rings. The benefit there is that you can adjust the length slightly using vice or other tools while the gadget is off.
  3. This method lets you test any inner diameter within your existing chastity device if you suspect it’s too wide. You can reheat and reshape it repeatedly until you get it right, then try wearing it again. It becomes clear and moldable at about 140 degrees F., turning hard and white after cooling for a few minutes. I’ve worn mine for days or overnight to test morning erections, etc. A bit of jojoba oil inside the tube helps with seating and comfort.
  4. I should have done this sooner. It helped me pinpoint my customized “tightest comfortable fit,” which makes wearing chastity feel much more genuine by balancing security and ease perfectly. Once you find it, you’ll likely prefer it over those larger, looser-fitting ball trap gadgets.
