Difficulties with wearing a device? discussion

I recently chatted with Mistress about a compact punishment cage I plan to wear for a short period. To give you some context, I currently use a jailbird model that measures 1 1/8 inches in length and has an internal diameter of 1 1/4 inches. I really like my JB and have it on around the clock, except during permitted release times. Since this new cage is intended for temporary wear, I don’t want to spend too much money on it. After reading through discussions here, I headed over to DHGate to explore some options.

I was quite interested but also felt a bit of anxiety about cages that feature a catheter-style insert. On the positive side, I imagine it could introduce a new sensation and hopefully keep things cleaner when urinating. However, my main concern is the risk of infection or injury. I’ve never had anything inserted into me before, so the idea makes me feel slightly uneasy. Then again, for a punishment cage, that discomfort seems appropriate.

So here’s my query: What has your experience been with this style of device? Are the potential issues I’m worried about valid? Or are there straightforward ways to manage them? Which is better: metal or plastic inserts? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
