Hello everyone, I’d like to get a sense of the group’s views on cage tube diameter. For several months now, I’ve been taking measurements as I prepare to order from Red Chilli, and while most dimensions feel right, one remains uncertain: the tube size.

Currently, my ideal fit is 32-33mm internal diameter (ID). It looks like Red Chilli only provides 30mm or 35mm options. To test this out, I purchased several 30mm rings. They definitely work, but they are quite “snug,” if you will. A 32mm size seems to hover just right against the skin, whereas the 30mm has more contact. The 35mm feels rather large—my current inexpensive device is around 37mm ID and feels very spacious.

Anyway, does anyone have experience with a slightly tighter cage (in terms of diameter) and dealt with any problems? Our wear periods are typically just 1-4 weeks, so it’s not an extreme situation. I’m mainly concerned about agitation or irritation.
