I don’t really vibe with this chastity lifestyle, though my husband thinks it’s great for us. I’ve given it a shot, but it just doesn’t stick. It feels so odd to me..and honestly, it kills the mood. The only time I can handle it is when I’m drunk; then it barely matters. But he’s obsessed with it. He keeps buying new devices hoping one will be “perfect,” yet none seem right for him. Since his penis isn’t large, the cages never sit quite how he likes them. Personally, though, that hasn’t been an issue. His obsession is becoming a major damper on our marriage. I’m done dealing with it, but he won’t quit. Maybe I’m in the wrong here..I suppose. But my feelings are genuine. To me, this whole chastity setup feels weird and unsettling. I just want a regular sexual partner. Giving him bj’s is fine for me. No issue with toys or roleplay either, but this… it goes too far:( What should I do? We’ve been married 17 years. I’d hate to ruin everything because of this. I feel completely adrift!

You need to communicate all that directly to him. Being open and honest is the best approach; chastity isn't for everyone, so you shouldn't feel pressured into doing something that turns you off.

Tell him straight out: "I am in charge and I say no to chastity devices. Please don't mention them again." If he wants you to be the one calling the shots, he must respect your authority. Tell him it's a total turnoff for you. It's fine if you want space to read or try things out later, but he is being WAYYYY too pushy and isn't listening. Stand firm.
