3D printing files discussion

After refining the New Fun Cage through numerous iterations, I realized there were some design flaws to fix—particularly with how it connects. Today I printed early versions of a revised design and am sharing photos here, hoping for an interactive process where you all can share your thoughts and constructive feedback.

Here’s what the new prototype aims to achieve:

• A more robust mechanical mount
• Reduced joint flexing for a steadier ring gap
• Adjustable gap* (still exploring this—testing various rings)
• Resistance to tilting when joined (similar to HT designs)
• A clear “fully seated” state so you know the lock is properly inserted
• Slimmer, less bulky profile
• More tolerant of lock size variations
