Life has thrown some character-building hurdles my way, but I’ve weathered them and am now ready to get back into dating. It’s crucial that I find someone who is open about my kinks and willing to give a FLR (chastity included) lifestyle a shot. I’m far more than just a chastity slave. I love my job, I’m a great co-parent, hold strong unconventional beliefs, identify as an introvert, have mood swings ranging from anger and sadness to mania and gratitude. My point is that you can get lost in your own head, so not everyone will like me or truly understand what I bring. Finding someone who connects with me and feels comfortable seems daunting enough on its own. Finding someone who shares or accepts my love for chastity, bondage, strap-ons, power exchange, etc., also feels like a big hurdle. Trying to find both at once while starting this journey feels almost insurmountable. But it isn’t impossible. I see two main ways to start…
- Be straightforward about the chastity, bondage, and strap-ons right from the get-go. Look for someone in that specific dating pool who won’t be scared off by these things.
- Aim for the best overall match, perhaps my ideal ‘vanilla’ partner—someone I simply enjoy being with. We can gently introduce our kinks & fetishes after a few dates and take it slow, focusing on what she enjoys. Am I missing another approach? I’m probably overthinking this too much. As I wrote these out, option 1 felt stronger than 2. Any other advice for someone seeking love, happiness, and unicorns?
