Does anyone have some experience with a posture collar? Are they worth the investment and what does the dome get out of it?

I possess a posture collar which I LOVE!!!! Apologies, I actually have two... though one functions more like a neck corset - which i adore as well.... When choosing a posture collar, take into account the length of your neck alongside its circumference. While wearing it, you are intended to remain firmly immobile in the neck area so it should sit under your jaw line but also be reasonably comfortable ( unless you desire red marks that is ). To answer "Are they worth the investment?" - it relies on whether you enjoy having your head 'clamped' into a specific position and/or if your dominant likes being controlled in this manner. When utilized within a bondage scene - for instance spread eagle on the bed or floor, the dominant might appreciate that you cannot move your head so much restricting your field of vision considerably... without needing a blindfold. If the subbie is mobile, the appearance of someone holding their head high up is quite aesthetically pleasing, even if they have no choice in the matter. The value is subjective.

I adore wearing my posture collar because it's so restrictive and feels wonderful. It also looks great with my lovely PCV corset. In fact I'm sporting my posture collar in my profile photo; you can see how it lifts the head up. Additionally, the Dom gets to view you looking proud and at attention plus it works well for bondage scenes. We purchased an inexpensive 20 just to test what it was like, we really ought to invest in a proper made-to-measure one.
