Hello everyone, First off, thank you all; I’m delighted to have found a spot where we can talk about things connected to chastity. I haven’t posted much since joining just a few months ago. English isn’t my first language either, so expect some writing mistakes from me. Mostly, I’ve been reading plenty here and was a lurker even before officially signing up. So, I’ll use this thread as an introduction and to track how my life of being locked continues. I don’t have a keyholder right now, so I’m trying to stay self-locked as much as I can. Although it fluctuates based on my willpower, my current regular chastity cage has been part of the journey… many might relate to this routine: from interest, to your first cage… from locked, to unlocked, then locked again, more unlocking, another cage, cycles repeating… things you love but also hate about your cage… I worked with inexpensive cages until today, August 3rd, 2018, when I took the plunge and ordered a Steelworxx Titanium Looker 01 - which I expect to receive in a couple of weeks. The affordable cages have paved the way for what I really wanted in my custom cage, from dimensions… attributes… I’ve been prioritizing comfort greatly because I aim to be locked up around the clock; without comfort, I’ll just unlock, it’s not pain I’m after, just less and less control over my male appendage;) I’ve endured devices that were too long or heavy (like my first one, a steel cbx6000s), and cheap hinged ones that pinched painfully… leading to a specific set of attributes for equal comfort:

• A solid metal base ring - although I can fit 45mm with slightly larger cages, I realized I need something bigger for short cages, so I’m currently back at 50mm.
• A metal cage with bars connecting like spider legs and one hole where a Penis Plug can be attached - ensuring hardly any flesh pokes through the end.
• A small cage - comfort increases drastically when there’s no room to grow - I’m a grower, not a shower - settling on a total length of 45mm measured including the base ring to the tip of the cage, meaning about 30mm for just the cage part.
• An integrated lock - lowers the overall profile; padlocks are bulky and less friendly with underwear;)
• A removable Penis Plug - extending 1 cm past the base ring, though not for long-term wear - I get sore around day two, and haven’t settled on a full metal or flexible silicon one yet. I just enjoy the teasing sensations from time to time with the plug attached. I hope to find a nice, friendly female soulmate who will eventually hold the key and guide me further down this path; it feels like how it should be. So why not temporarily go online for lock-up? There is also a very simple answer: One of my hobbies is weekly ballroom dancing, and I don’t want the lady who is my dance partner to know about this lifestyle I enjoy for practical reasons… she isn’t my soulmate, and I know that won’t change on my side; it wouldn’t be advised either if she held my key temporarily. The key should stay with the keyholder who is also my full-time partner… well, that’s how it feels to me anyway… I’m perhaps a bit old-school when it comes to partnering up.
