Full Belts discussion

Hi everyone! I’ve got a fully functional Chinese steel belt now and am generally pleased with it. Naturally, the major problem that seems to affect us all is the rubber lining peeling up constantly, which doesn’t suit my needs. So I’m looking for advice on what others have done to stop the rubber from slipping off every few hours.

• One quick idea would be cutting the lining into sections so maybe it won’t slide back as much on those curved parts at the rear.
• I’ve read that double-sided tape works, but did you apply it just to the backside or also along the lip section?
• Has anyone taken the lining out completely and perhaps sanded down the metal band’s edges enough so it can be worn without digging into the skin?
• Did anyone find a better rubber lining elsewhere, one that might have a larger fold-over on the lip for longer wear?
• Anyone tried glue? Or would that not work well if you need to access some of the waist belt screws for adjustments. Just sharing my thoughts and curious what others have done so I can finalize this fix and be quite happy with my Chinese belt as a 24/7 device. Thanks in advance, looking forward to your insights!:)

I went around it with electrical tape in several spots to keep the lining secured. It's not a perfect fix but it does help prevent slipping.
