As I keep testing out budget-friendly options, a few specs seem tricky to find together. Just like other posters have noted, metal devices with narrower bar gaps work best for me—they stop skin pinching (especially when I’m in my Levi’s 501s) and ward off RRS (Repetitive Rubbing Syndrome).:rolleyes:

I also prefer an ergo base ring, which is taller than it is wide—the reverse of the HT series. The flat surface helps spread out weight and friction more evenly. At first, I was just going to grab a MM Jailbird, but now there are so many choices to weigh before spending hundreds. Does anyone know a stainless steel custom chastity maker whose base rings look like this? (By the way, it’s a FeiGu 146 from Amazon.) Also, on my current device, the bars are too wide apart; I really like the tighter spacing of Happygo’s “Super Small” model in the bottom photo.
