I find it really uncomfortable to cycle with my device in place. I've got a metal one now; I keep the ring on but take off the cage. It's still somewhat uneasy. I assume you don't wear bike shorts because they make it hard to conceal the device.
I do wear cycling shorts—they are a bit visible in them. In summer I layer another pair of looser shorts over them, but today I wore tight cycling leggings on top as well. The extra layer makes it less obvious; if someone had actually stopped to chat while I was off the bike, they might have noticed—but since I wasn't stopping, it worked out. Regarding comfort—I admit it's a bit uncomfortable. However, after about ten minutes today, my balls retracted due to the cold, which solved most issues, and everything stays snug in both shorts and leggings. I don't exert myself as much as usual when wearing it. Honestly, I think serious mountain biking would be out of the question for me now. Any other info about cycling with chastity is welcome!
I do a lot of mountain biking while wearing my CB3000. After a bit, I forget it's there because I'm busy hurtling down hills and weaving through trees haha. I even ride to work every day. The only time I feel self-conscious is when dismounting; the device tends to stick out in my pants. A small issue arises when you're stuck in the middle of nowhere and need the toilet, as standing up with CB devices can be quite messy for urination.
I find I don't push myself as hard when riding even just with the ring from my device. It simply isn't comfortable enough to exert fully. But it's easier to leave the ring on than trying to slip everything back in later.
