It’s fairly straightforward to find the inexpensive integral locks, which might be brass, that fit inside the Holy Trainer and apparently dozens of other Chinese imitation devices. They generally seem to run on either one or two keys. The metal composition of these locks, particularly when paired with PA padlocks, appears to deteriorate rapidly. They wear out quickly, tend to jam up, and get dirty easily enough. Assuming there are indeed four levers within each lock mechanism, that would create 24 distinct lever combinations, meaning you’d need a unique key for each arrangement. So, I have a question: Does anyone know of replacement locks available with identical dimensions but featuring more levers (thus offering a wider variety of keys)? Ideally, they should be crafted from stainless steel or titanium.
