Lately I’ve come to the conclusion that most of what I do here, apart from a handful of friendships I’ve built up, is mostly for entertainment or fantasy reading. Nine months ago when I started out, this place was an excellent resource for someone new like me, but now it’s basically just something to kill time with. To clear things up regarding the subject line: I’m pulling back and using CM less frequently. I’ll still pop in occasionally, but it feels more and more like a spot where I read about other people’s lives that I envy, which honestly skews my view of my own reality. It’s not really doing me any good or helping my personal growth.

That said, the advice and wisdom I’ve gotten here have been wonderful. But I’ve hit a stage where what I do has to depend on what is happening right now in front of me. If I reach certain milestones along this path, I’ll post updates for you all who are friends, as well as those keeping an eye on my progress.

I’m not disappearing completely, just cutting back on frequency. Wishing everyone the best.
