I recently picked up a custom KHD Q4 from Shapeways. Pedro 69 designed it, and his shop is called Key Holder Delight. I struggled to find reviews before buying this device, so I decided to write one myself. Honestly, I think it’s fantastic!

To compare with past devices I’ve owned: a CB-6000s, Holy Trainer, several Chinese cages, and two full-length Chinese belts.

I prefer the Q4 over all of them. It is much more comfortable if not better overall, and feels more secure. This might be due to its custom design.

The device is very lightweight and fits like a glove. When using a urinal, my penis stays aligned with the pee hole without needing adjustment.

As many know, 3D printing leaves a textured matte finish. I don’t mind it; the texture is mild enough to avoid rubbing issues, though it adds just enough of that ‘tech’ feel that pulling out and especially reinserting can be tricky.

My only worry about the texture is that the underside gets a bit dirty over time.

So far, I’ve worn this continuously for about four days. My sleep has been sound with no pain or pinching; it’s literally the best device I’ve ever owned.

The only downside is the top part where the cage meets the ring is thicker than expected, making it slightly harder to hide under tight clothes. However, wearing tight underwear and adjusting a little helps resolve this mostly.

Coming from an ill-fitting heavy Chinese device, I was immediately struck by how light this one is. You can barely feel its weight. Because the fit is custom, you notice arousal quickly since there’s no room to grow inside—a good thing for comfort, as other devices hurt when you get a slight erection.

You can choose your coverage percentage; I opted for 70% on the head and 35% on the shaft. This works well because the head is covered enough to block stimulation from sweet spots but open enough to stay dry and washable.

I highly recommend this device. The only change I’d make would be reducing the size of the top part or perhaps designing an attachment system that moves it down to the sides.
