Novices and newbies discussion

Hey everyone. When my wife keeps the key, she typically holds onto it for over a week, and occasionally even two weeks pass before I get it back. She’s gradually getting more into her role as keyholder with each locking period. However, she doesn’t want to act like wanking police or spend ages supervising me in the shower—that’s too much effort for her. I appreciate that approach. It somewhat undermines my motivation of doing this primarily for her enjoyment. Anyway, back to what prompted this post: If I stay locked in a sturdy metal queen’s keeper cage for more than seven days, is there an effective method to stay fresh so it doesn’t smell terrible when she finally lets me take the lock off?
