Difficulties with wearing a device? discussion

Does anyone else put vent holes in a HTV2? I’m thinking about drilling a single millimeter hole right where the top of the glands connects to the shaft, mainly to stop condensation building up while wearing it during daylight hours. Has anyone tried this or something close to it? It would be annoying to drill into an otherwise fine unit just for that.
