Sorry I wasn’t sure where to place this. I’m searching for a container to keep the extra key in. The deciding factor is that it uses an external padlock rather than the standard built-in style found on typical cash boxes or similar containers.. This matters because then the spare key stays inside the box while my KH holds both keys—one for the inner lock and one for the outer padlock.. so I can unlock the padlock when my KH allows me to retrieve the key for cleaning/shaving etc. Once finished, I just click it back on by our agreed deadline and send proof. It’s not perfect and there will be temptation obviously, but it’s much better than having a spare key accessible 24/7 which has worked up until now as we are both ready to move forward.
