I got my #2D delivered yesterday and wanted to share some early impressions. It’s the second piece from Lori I’ve owned; previously, I had a #1 cage without a ball trap. Both this model and the original are built for Prince Albert piercings.

Right out of the packaging, the 2D really stood out, looking more like fine art than your typical chastity tube. The chrome finish is shiny, and the ring feels solid. I was worried it might be too large or heavy at first, but that wasn’t an issue. It sits nicely under tight jeans. Surprisingly comfortable even after a ninety-minute morning bike ride in Lycra shorts, though it’s not as discreet as my old #1.

I think the ball trap design with a base ring is much more functional than just a simple tube for PA piercings. For one thing, it stops full erections far better. With the #1, I could get about 85% of the way to a complete erection and still have an orgasm if I stroked carefully. That probably won’t be possible with the #2D. Secondly, when flaccid, the base ring takes most of the weight off the PA piercing itself, which reduces pressure significantly. The only minor drawback is that having three screws makes it slightly more effort to put on and take off. However, the security is much better than what I had before.

Dealing with Ms. Lori has been great too; she replies quickly to messages and requests. It took about three months for her to make my #2D, but that time passed well. The price tag is high, but given all other devices I’ve tried—the CB-6000, birdcages, etc.—this one offers excellent security, comfort, and style.

It sounds like it's serving you well. Best of luck with the device. If those three screws make removal a chore, there is only one real solution: just leave it on longer.:-) Honestly, if taking it off feels like too much trouble, staying locked up might happen naturally. I'm planning to get something similar soon, but I prefer a clamshell design. Maybe the #16.
