I’ve been searching for a more compact humbler. Being slightly smaller than the typical guy, I find that standard-sized humblers are too big for me. If only my woodworking skills were better. Alas. Then I might have built one myself. Any insights on this subject would be greatly appreciated. Best, /J

Hmm, perhaps two wooden dowels (around 25mm or 20mm?) with strong rubber bands at the ends would suffice. Think Japanese aesthetic. Affordable and uncomfortable. She prefers discomfort. Well, I’ll give it a shot.

...or slightly curved rattan sticks (to make them more tolerable). Not too thin though. Apologies for the rambling. *smile*

krylzkvi- I think by having this conversation with yourself, you’ve essentially answered your own question. Or at least found a reasonable solution. My recommendation would be using the wooden rods. I've witnessed this method before and it works well, not to mention being very cost-effective. Plus, the best part is that you can adjust it to fit your specific needs. Good Luck~ Ms.Linda

**thanks** There’s nothing quite like self-exploration. *smile* I’ll go with the rattan option, or actually let Her try it. If she doesn’t care for it, that’s mostly my issue to bear. Thank you for your validating comments. /J
