Chastity and orgasm denial discussion

The miss and I stepped away from 24/7 wear for a while due to some cage problems and significant stress at our business. We went about our normal routine, but I slipped back into bad habits, reaching the point where I was finishing myself off two or three times each day. Now that most of those stresses and cage issues are resolved, we’ve decided to return to full-time locking, with my first unlock determined by a game. Every day we flip a coin: heads adds 2 days to the lock-up timer, tails means nothing happens. We started with 3 days, so far it’s been 6 days with 2 remaining left (Fingers crossed!!). Our previous longest continuous period was 33 days, but these past 6 have felt much more challenging than I recall. As my miss puts it, I’m ‘thirstier than the dog.’ So here is my question: when you take a break for a while, do you find it harder (HA!) to get back into the rhythm of full-time chastity?
