Behind Barz discussion

So, giving the BB another go after quite a while.

Comfort and discretion were always my main concerns (especially that paranoia about the waistband showing). But I think with a little daily readjustment, I’ve found a position that’s actually working well now. I’m not too worried because it sits low and tight enough that I don’t expect it to ride up. The rod—which I shortened but initially thought might be too short—is quite comfortable this time (not sure what exactly changed since last time; previously it used to dig in at the bottom, but now it feels a bit looser and angled slightly differently so there’s much less pressure).

There are just two minor snags left that other BB owners here might have advice on:

1. The screws at the back of the waistband sometimes dig in. Sometimes they feel fine, but other times I find myself pressing against the front to relieve some of that rear pressure. Is that normal? Are there any pro-tips or workarounds current users use to avoid that discomfort (like moisturizing the area, wrapping fabric around it, or accepting that maybe loosening the belt a touch is necessary)? It’s currently tight enough that I absolutely cannot slide it down at all; bending or sitting can sometimes cause digging-in sensations but nothing too crazy painful. I guess I could go down one notch on the tightness level, but I’m conscious of giving myself a fighting chance to adjust and not give up right away.

2. The other small issue is chafing between my thighs (I’m using the BBCS). Not sure there’s much that can be done about it; I’m more concerned that I’ll subconsciously start walking funny just to avoid the irritation. I’ve read in a few posts that the Hannibal cage helps with this as well as reducing profile, so it’s something I’m seriously considering.
