Difficulties with wearing a device? discussion

I wanted to share some insights I’ve gathered from my ongoing experiments with long-term device wear. I own all the different devices, but metal is my preference for reasons detailed in this Chat topic. My go-to piece is the Steelwerks Tiffany (Titanium). Mostly, I keep myself shaved. However, when my spouse decides to be particularly harsh, she forbids shaving around day 10-14. It hurts! At those times, I usually apply more lubricant because it helps the base ring slide over the hair. Recently, though, I ran into some issues with that approach. Too much lube caused my scrotum to slip down too far and then, during an overnight erection attempt, got locked in an awkwardly tight position. This led to temporary sores. By stopping the lubrication, things stay connected better, allowing me to sleep until about 5 a.m. To handle the unpredictable nature of Key Holder (KH) control, I persuaded her to let me take key management and get waxed during a family trip to Florida. My first stop was a Brazilian salon—no success there. The staff smiled with understanding but gave me another recommendation which also didn’t work out. Then came the Chinese place; they only did the back using gauze and heated wax, which was quite painful! Finally, on my fourth attempt, I found European Wax Center, blending right in. Their ‘clinician’ was incredibly kind. She explained that they use a proprietary wax applied directly to the hair for removal that is much more pleasant and effective than gauze. They also noted that the ‘full brazilian’ isn’t legally permitted everywhere (though it’s available in most states). The advice was to check their website and local clinics; if the clinician’s name has an asterisk (*), they perform this specific treatment. I now feel fantastic and much more comfortable in my device. I’d happily ride my motorcycle 300 miles round-trip for future treatments wherever I am!
