After doing some research and chatting with a few folks, I’ve finally decided to buy a chastity device for myself. I went with the cb-3000, partly because of my budget for this first piece and because it seemed like a very reliable option for what I was considering. It should arrive within a few days, hopefully. As long as the shop where I ordered it still has them in stock fingers crossed I’m feeling a bit apprehensive, quite nervous at least. I mean, until I find someone who wants to be my key holder, I’ll ultimately remain in control myself. Yet the idea of taking another step toward giving up that control is pretty scary for me. I’m also wondering if I will like the product or end up disappointed. Will there are any unexpected problems? shrug Who knows. We shall see.
good luck when it finally arrives. i remember my own mix of anxiety and apprehension and excitement waiting for my first device to come after years of umming and aahing. whatever the outcome just enjoy the feeling i am sure you will move onwards and upwards (maybe not upwards)! lol
I hope you find a key holder, but you can still realize the advantages of being "locked." I would recommend placing your keys in a very inconvenient spot. Dont be like me and put your keys somewhere forgotten.
Dear sable, it's good to see you decided for a chastity device at last. It is a first step to see what it is like and if you can cope with it or not. I am sure you will like the feeling of being lock (even though there is no key holder yet). You might not like the bulge the device creates in your crotch but you should always remember the goal of having a key holder sooner or later who locks you into a full steel belt ... Fingers crossed, maid katrin
Congratulations on taking that first step. You made a solid choice; the CB-3000 is an ideal device for newcomers. I wear one myself and absolutely love it. I still recall the thrill of excitement when I first strapped mine on. I hope you get yours very soon. There's no rush at the start. Give yourself time to figure out the best fit with ring size and spacers. Then gradually increase your chastity time little by little. Start by wearing it for a few hours, then move up to an afternoon, a day, or even a weekend, etc. After a while, you'll realize you won't ever want to take it off;)
Thanks to all the respondents who have wished me encouragement. stroppy: tee hee, thank you. Arrested: *smiles* I've already planned on keeping one key in my wallet - just in case of an emergency - and another key on my alter, which is dedicated to aspects of sex, sensuality, passion, desire, death, and transformation. If I keep it in mind and heart that this is a very sacred journey along my path, that should help bolster my resolve. maid katrin: Thank you. Yes, that's definitely one of the concerns I have. Fortunately, I'm somewhat gender queer and enjoy leaving people wondering sometimes, so maybe it won't be an issue. But we will see. The *real* test will come when it warms up enough to pull the motorcycle out... Anne-Lore: good suggestions. I was going to do my best to take everything a little bit at a time. Not too slowly though, lest I stagnate or am too easy on myself.
**Yeah it should be great! Where did u purchase from? I was just wondering because I wanted to punch myself in the face after buying mine from one site. Yesterday I looked on and their prices are so cheap they'll make your head spin.. I was also wondering if those 75$ devices are legit... it made me say wow and dammit at the same time lol. If they're selling the legitimate devices, you'd have to be a major fool not to buy from there.**
I got mine from [[Kept For Her]]( partly because I could grab their anti-pullout device too. Given those prices, I suspect the site you linked to is actually selling low-quality Chinese imitations.
The CB3K got here today. After doing a simple cleansing ritual, I began experimenting with different ring and spacer setups along with the anti-pullout. I feel like I'm getting close to finding something that suits me well. The device is somewhat bulky, but since I usually wear clothes that aren't too tight, this shouldn't cause any issues.

You might find that the rings cause irritation where they hinge. Others and I have faced this issue and switched to solid rings instead. They are much more comfortable!
I've wanted to be more active in this thread lately, but the last few evenings have been hectic. A lot of experimenting has gone on with my ring sizes and spacers. I began by using the smallest size that would fit, yet discovered a tight, burning sensation at the base of my labia donor tissue (scrotum) after just 3 or 4 hours. Last night, I stepped up to a larger base ring. That seemed like an improvement; it held through the night with only minor re-adjustments and included a bigger spacer. I kept wearing it into the morning and part of the day, but eventually discomfort set in. Since there wasn't anywhere convenient for adjustments then, I took it off. Fingers crossed that my current setup works without needing another size increase. Going up again would make pulling out too easy, which is not what I want. On a down note, my cuter underwear doesn't secure the device well enough *sad*. Also, while walking... I sort of flop around inside myself. It's slightly annoying. Still, I do enjoy feeling enclosed and locked in. Even though I'll probably get something better suited eventually, this is a good start, so I'm happy with my purchase. lockedck, oddly enough, I have the newer ring system that lacks bottom hinges. Kind of like how the cb6k works.
