Introductions discussion

Hi all, I’m new here and wanted to introduce myself. I’ve actually been around this area for a while now, though I often find myself stopping and starting again—it’s an ongoing process that has cost me quite a bit of money. You know how it is; every time you stop, something old gets tossed into the trash bin.:-(

My new metal lock is currently on its way, but I’m not entirely sure how long this period will last for me. What do you think?
