I realize this query pops up frequently, but asking once more shouldn’t be a problem.

I’m struggling to choose the correct device and am undecided based on what I’ve read. My measurements are roughly 5 inches flaccid, nearly 8 inches erect, and uncircumcised. Initially, the CB6000 was my top choice, but concerns about it breaking and finding the proper mix of rings and spacers have given me pause. Replacement isn’t something I want to deal with prematurely, so durability is a worry for me.

Later, I discovered the Birdlocked, though I heard reports that getting the fit right can be tricky. That’s what drew my attention to the Bon4; it seems like an easier option, provided the cage length works for me. Another advantage of these devices is their silicone construction rather than plastic, which reportedly makes them less prone to breaking and more comfortable overall—a key factor for me.

Lastly, I noticed discussions on Tickleberry suggesting that uncircumcised users might prefer the Houdini or CB2000 because they facilitate cleaning. Since I’m not ready for a steel device just yet, this points toward the CB2000, although I haven’t seen it available for purchase recently.

In short, how accurate is what I’ve heard? Which devices are true to their reputation and which aren’t? Ultimately, which one do you recommend? :confused0082:

Hello, If your flaccid length is around 5 inches, the curvature matters. The CB3K and CB6K have an internal tube measurement of about 3.25 inches, while the curve extends to 3.75 inches. Even that might feel tight for you. I suspect fitting into a Birdlocked would be nearly impossible. Good luck, and please keep us posted on your progress! mikecb

**Mature Metal** Devices from Mature Metal are custom-fitted. They also don't break.

It appears the silicone options are ruled out, which is a little disappointing. For now, I'm leaning towards the CB6000. Once some cash comes in, I'll place an order; it should only be a few weeks before then. I'll keep you all updated.

Is there a specific reason you're leaning toward plastic? (There are plenty of good reasons to choose it.) Personally, I got tired of snapping plastic cages. My Lori #7 is slightly heavy, but it's the most comfortable device I've worn so far.

I reviewed the plastic options. Unless you pass through metal detectors frequently, steel devices seem superior and less noticeable under clothes to me. Take a look at mine. B)

I'm currently going through the process of having a device custom-made by MatureMetal. Even though I haven't received it yet, I'd recommend them for their excellent customer service and the positive reviews from other users who have theirs. However, I should mention that if you need to travel by air while locked or work in an environment with metal detectors, you might want to consider getting a plastic device as well.

Also, I suppose it's worth noting that I've been wearing my CB-6000 almost constantly since May with very few problems. During a week-long business trip, I passed through airport security twice without any trouble while using the plastic lock... My main concerns with the CB-6000 revolve around cleanliness and overall comfort.

I recently found that I can slip out of it while soft and, if wearing stockings, pull back in... so it's not completely secure... I've come across a few security add-ons for the CB-6000, but opinions vary on how comfortable and effective they are... The Mature Metal devices differ because you can specify A rings in 1/8th inch steps for an exact fit. They also offer integrated anti-pullout pins that go down from the top to stop it coming out while keeping you locked in.
