Full Belts discussion

Hello! I own a neosteel belt featuring a silicone insert that has been on and off for several years. The overall condition of the strap is good, and the liner remains largely undamaged, but the adhesive securing it to the band has deteriorated. This makes it somewhat troublesome to reattach the liner whenever I put the device back on. I plan to attempt regluing the lining myself. It looks like a straightforward task for my modest workshop abilities:) I’m curious if anyone else has done this? Do you have any suggestions regarding the type of adhesive to use and the application method? To reiterate, the belt is stainless steel while the liner material is silicone (as opposed to neoprene). Appreciate your help!

I experienced that same issue. I took off all of the old lining, then used an emery drill bit to roughen up the surface where the new liner sits on both the metal part and the inner side of the liner itself. Afterward, I applied a silicone sealer similar to marine-grade silicone adhesive for re-gluing it, with 100% success.
