“Evening everyone, I just finished ordering the neosteel male sports belt a couple of days ago, but today I’ve been reading mixed opinions on whether the padlock creates a visible bulge under trousers. Some say it is noticeable; others disagree.

So what’s the truth? At my job, I wear tucked-in shirts with trousers, so if there is any bump, it will likely stand out (as one would expect). It’s better to find out now whether I should opt for the lower-profile snap lock instead.

"I have worn the neosteel hip belt with dress pants, shirt and tie for five years in a high-profile job, and no one has ever noticed, glanced at me, commented on it, or shown even the slightest interest. The Abus padlock rested just beneath the leather belt that held up my trousers. My trousers did reveal two lines from the rear crotch shield when I bent over, but my Wife said it wasn't a problem. dc{MsL}

"It depends on how paranoid you are. I'm quite paranoid;) I have both the Abus padlock and the snap lock. It's easy to swap them depending on your mood. Most of the time I use the padlock with a t-shirt hanging over my trousers. If I'm tucking in my top, I prefer the lower profile of the snap lock.

But as Wrench mentioned, getting both gives you the choice of which one suits you best. I personally think all humans worry too much about things that most people will never notice. Have you ever had your spouse ask if something looks okay? And you know not to say "Looks OK," unless! She changes faster than you can finish telling her what's wrong. This applies to both systems: the Abus padlock and the S.S. snap lock..:rolleyes: reg.. GWENY:P

One needs to know that there is a belt underneath the clothes to detect any suspicious signs at all. However, chastees who are new to wearing one tend to be a bit nervous... almost like suffering from chastity paranoia. "I wear a jailhouse steel device with no problems; I check all my pants before going out. A few pairs of shorts will show the lock. I avoid wearing them around my small town. Out traveling extensively, I don't care as much. Last summer I wore a steel ball stretcher in those showing shorts and got lengthy looks from women close to my age at a gas station while passing by. I loved it & didn't blink. I might do the same on and off this summer; it's quite arousing. The woman at the sta was with a guy in the car. Wonder if there was a conversation about it. In wearing my chastity device for months at a time, people go about their lives & I don't see any gazing around. Most people would never guess that us guys and gals are wearing steel underwear."

"Nobody ever detected my belt (or the lock 'bulge'), neither the CB series (2000, 3000, 6000) nor the MySteel (Untouchable), and above all nobody detected my Neosteel (The Arch), which sits quite low on the hips. Even swimming is no problem. Sometimes even my wife asks me if I really wear the belt and double-checks with her hands because she can't see it! - Oh, I forgot: There were some exceptions: Some people noticed my belt in the sauna (only the plastic versions; others are too dangerous because the metal gets very hot) B) - but I only wear the belt in the sauna when sure that no kids are allowed. But yes, at first I always had the feeling everyone would see the belt ..."
