Right now my entire shaft, from head to base along with some of my scrotum, is coated in a thick layer of dry skin that feels so intense it’s like wearing a condom when I touch myself. It was completely fine just a few days ago, without even a single patch of dry skin. Now it’s starting to peel, and the new skin underneath looks healthy, but I worry that if I continue doing the wrong thing with my chastity belt I’ll end up constantly in this state! Please help me figure out what went wrong and how to prevent it next time.

I received my first device, a CB-6000, this weekend. My girlfriend and I have kept me locked in it almost all the time, only taking it off to change spacers and ring sizes until we found what seems like the most comfortable fit. For now, I’ve settled on a large and comfortable ring. I read somewhere that using soap helps lubricate the shaft when getting the tube on is difficult due to an erection, allowing me to slide it on more easily. After spending half an hour trying unsuccessfully to ice my shaft and balls, I tried the soap method and it worked perfectly, so I’ve stuck with it. I was putting it on and taking it off frequently; this link (right here) is the closest equivalent online to what I’m using. Same color, same product name, same packaging, just a different brand.

Basically, I would get some water, put a dab of that soap on my fingertips, lather up my shaft until it was sudsy, then slide on the tube and click the lock into place. It was painless and worked great. For the first few days I didn’t notice any issues; I wore it night and day without issue for about a day and a half after initially testing different rings and spacers to find my perfect fit. Yesterday morning when my girlfriend gave me permission to unlock myself, I felt my shaft immediately and noticed how dry it had become. At first I didn’t realize the severity of it, so I just grabbed some moisturizer—Lubriderm Advanced Therapy (I’ve provided a link if you want more details right here). I applied it generously and rubbed it in well, covering the whole area. Then I found that with all that lubrication, it was simple enough to slide the tube back on without using hand soap like before. Considering how dry my skin had become, I thought using moisturizing lotion would be a smarter choice than hand soap.

After spending the day in the belt this way for about 9 hours total, I got home and found that my skin was just as bad as in the morning if not worse. My girlfriend and I decided it would be wise to keep me unlocked for the rest of the night. I applied more lubrication and went to bed. When I woke up this morning, I saw that the skin was beginning to peel, and applying more lubrication caused a large dry patch covering most of my shaft to burn slightly as I rubbed in the lotion. The burning subsided after I stopped applying it.

It’s an ugly sight, looking like a really extreme case of sudden dry skin. Can anyone explain what I did wrong, how I can help this heal, and how to prevent it from happening again?

The first thing you did wrong IMO was using soap as a lubricant. The best thing I’ve found is baby oil GEL. It lubes and protects, contains aloe, and is easy to use. I have had exactly what you are describing, even before I knew anything about a chastity device. Take a long soaking bath to remove most of the dried skin, give it a day or two to recover, then try again using the gel.

Thank you, I'll do that and give it a few days. Once everything seems healed, I’ll try it again. > TCFun said: > I agree - soap will take the oils out of the skin and is not a good lubricant. Personally I do not use a lubricant and I can where a device 24/7 for weeks without issue if you keep yourself clean. I use soap and a swab to clean inside the cage and then use a shower attachment to flush it through. If you need a lubricant, use one that allows the skin to breathe. > Click to expand... Would that baby oil gel allow the skin to breathe in your opinion? I'm not sure exactly what prevents the skin from breathing, so I don't know what I should look out for.
