Greetings everyone; I’ve been watching from the sidelines for some time and picking up a lot of knowledge. My spouse and I have been debating which chastity device suits us best. We’ve settled on an MM model, and I’m currently taking measurements with their rings while weighing several questions and worries. My wife feels I’m overanalyzing things, though researching thoroughly before spending significant money is just my nature. Plus, this piece of equipment will likely be strapped to me for a considerable duration.

I have my measuring rings ready and am working out the best fit. Yes, I’ve read the instructions included with the rings and most forum threads on sizing among other details. My primary worry remains the cage diameter. According to MM’s guidelines, I should aim for a 1 1/4” diameter, but following another guide (Pansytart), it suggests 1 5/8”. That seems like a significant gap in my opinion. I didn’t use Pansy’s stocking method beforehand, though I plan to try that approach.

Because of this discrepancy, I experimented further with the rings while aroused. Wearing a 1 1/4” ring turned me blue and made my heart skip as removal was difficult. A 1 3/8” feels tight with some constriction; 1½” is nicely snug, and 1 5/8” has almost no friction at all. Given that I split the CB3000 and considering these ring experiments, the cage diameter keeps me up at night. I want the smallest possible cage but also need comfort.

Perhaps I did this incorrectly by putting on the rings first then getting an erection? Either way, it scared me a bit, so some clarification would be appreciated.

My other measurements haven’t been too complicated to decide upon. For the A-ring, 1 7/8” feels tight but 2” seems loose, so I’m leaning toward a 2” oval because I am a low hanger (blaming my previous CB3000 experience). Cage length is still up in the air; perhaps 2” +/- 1/4”, and for the gap, I plan to use 3/8.”

I’m also choosing which cage style. We’ve decided on the anti-pullout feature with a security screw. The Pet Trap looks best aesthetically for us. However, we’re concerned that the A-ring post might appear longer when using the anti-pullout mechanism. It seems taller than other MM devices based on images showing their pull-out pins compared to others like the Jailbird’s round bars. With the Pet Trap not being fully round bars, there could be more pinching on the sides—a concern given my current cage diameter issues.

It is better to be 1/16" slightly large than 1/16" small, giving room for the penis to move and space for cleaning. If there isn't enough movement, expect rubbing and sore spots after about a week—I’ve experienced this myself. There’s also a risk of swelling and other unpleasant issues. The cage diameter is critical because it cannot be easily altered later. If your CB3K was too tight, avoid going smaller than that diameter or you'll face difficulties (I believe the CB3K measures around 1 3/8" from memory). 2. **Base Ring Size**: My suggestion is not to go larger than your CB ring size, assuming it felt comfortable—otherwise, you might find it slipping forward. The oval shape improves comfort for most people but doesn't significantly reduce the effective diameter... 3. I only know the Queens Keep and Jailbird well, but regarding "pinching" in a Pet Trap, I see potential issues mainly if the cage diameter is too small. All its edges are smoothed. Basically, if you measure length and width while flaccid and use those numbers, you should be fine. Aim for slightly more width and slightly less length. I haven't tried the anti-pullout pins myself so I can't speak definitively on that feature specifically, but having observed how MM implements this mechanism, I don’t see why the Pet Trap would require a different post length compared to others. The challenge anyone faces when giving sizing advice is that we are all built differently, which carries some risk. However, if you consider the problems you had with your CB3K and apply them as corrections, then you are on the right track. Great advice. I own both the MM Jailbird & Tube models. I recommend purchasing the anti-pullout option. My Jailbird came with six anti-pullout pins: three blunt and three spiked. Without this feature, when I am most relaxed and flaccid, I believe I would accidentally slip out of the device. One morning was particularly interesting; I woke up with the largest spike in place along with a growing erection. I felt absolutely paralyzed, unable to get out of bed until I used mental strength to overcome that hurdle. After a few weeks, it seemed my nightly or morning erections weren't as severe initially. It seems my subconscious mind tells my subconscious cock not to repeat the pain experience! It has happened occasionally since then, but nothing like that first paralyzing erection! My Jailbird is 1 1/2" in diameter. I was told a cage should fit like a glove. My MM Tube does exactly this, whereas the Jailbird allows slight movement. I bought two Oval Base Rings for the Jailbird: 1.75" and 1 7/8", with a 3/8" gap. Later, I adjusted the gap on the 1.75" ring to 7/16" regarding circulation issues where my left testicle would turn blue! With the MM Tube there is no anti-pullout option available. I chose a 1 3/4" length, 1 1/2" diameter, with a 7/16" gap and Double Base Ring at 1 7/8". I am truly enjoying both devices. I wear the Jailbird long-term comfortably and swap into the MM Tube for periods of 3-4 days. When very active, I experience mild irritation under where the base of the penis meets the scrotum; going with a larger gap helped prevent this somewhat. I may try fitting rubber tubing around the base of the tube cylinder later. When inactive at home, everything is fine! I sleep in both devices. I think you’ll be pleased with your purchase and do recommend the anti-pullout feature. MM mentioned that pins marked with an "X" are more abrasive and can break skin, so you might want to avoid those specific ones. Considering the investment in a wonderful stainless steel device, going all-out for the anti-pullout is worth it as it helps prevent escape. Just be meticulous when measuring... then go for it! Just wanted to provide a quick update. First off, I want to thank realdog2, jeank, and mistressmaturmetal. So far, the size I am settling on is: 1. A-ring - 1 7/8" 2. Gap - 3/8" 3. Cage length - 2" 4. Cage diameter - 1 1/4" or 1 3/8" My biggest concern remains the cage diameter. I am still deciding which specific MM device to choose. I did try the stocking method but often woke up without the stocking and sometimes even without the ring. I have been in contact with MM regarding my questions and concerns, and they have been very helpful and prompt in responding. I hope to place the order within the next day or two. Who was I kidding? I am too impatient to wait another day or so and went ahead and ordered a Watchful Mistress with the anti-pullout pins.
