Hi all. I wanted to mention that I’ve really enjoyed browsing this wonderful forum and have been reading along for a while now. I’ve always fantasized about being kept in chastity, and recently my partner agreed to give it a shot with me. It’s had its ups and downs; we both liked the idea of me staying locked up, but sadly the gadget we purchased isn’t ideal for long-term wear.
We picked up an Exobelt V1 as our first piece of equipment. Jenny was great to work with, answering every question we threw at her, but it just doesn’t fit my body perfectly. The tube diameter is a bit narrow, so when I get an erection, the whole thing tends to pop off. I crafted a cable to attach to my PA piercing to stop it from sliding out, though it becomes quite painful after more than half a day because of the heavy strain on the piercing. Also, the rings that encircle everything seem to dig into my scrotum. I used a Dremel tool to smooth down the rough edges still present on some parts, which helped improve comfort, but they start hurting again after about twelve hours and once actually cut into my skin.
Before settling on the Exobelt, we considered the Birdlocked, but I’d seen some negative feedback online and chose against it. So now I’m trying to figure out my next steps to keep this dream alive. Our budget for a new device is around $300 right now; hopefully that’s sufficient for some good suggestions.
I welcome any ideas!:) Also, sorry if I posted this in the wrong area; I wasn’t entirely sure which section was best.
Hello Anubis and welcome. Based on my experience with both cages and a full belt (which is no longer in use), I’ve found that for me—and we are all unique—cage-style devices seem like a solid starting point. I’d steer clear of the very inexpensive options on eBay; they really don’t hold much value. They might work fine for short play sessions, but not for extended periods. I currently wear a modified Cb 6000. Even after having it machined and smoothed to eliminate hard corners, it still takes some time to get used to. So with any device, patience is key when adjusting the fit and letting your body adapt. Even with my current setup, which I’ve worn for up to six weeks continuously if needed, if I leave it off for a few weeks, I need several days to readjust. I always use lubricant to stop chafing of the ring and to ensure there are no gaps where skin could get trapped. For this purpose, I apply soft electrical tape at the joints and also to keep the padlock from rattling against the cage. With regular cleaning—which can be done while wearing it but is easier when removed—I think I could wear this device indefinitely. It took me a long time to establish my routine. So what I’m really suggesting is that you should expect to modify any of the mass-produced devices (the Lori seems popular if you are pierced), and with all types, you need time to acclimatize. You didn’t mention your target duration, which makes a difference. Also, plastic devices are only as secure as your determination to keep them on, since they can be removed quite easily if needed. If higher security is important, then a metal device like the Lori or a full belt might be better choices. I’m considering getting a Lori myself, but since we play intermittently, it’s a significant expense. I hope this gives you some ideas to consider. As with everything else in life, what matters most is finding what works for you rather than just following someone else.
