I’ve just placed an order for a Queen’s Keep from Mature Metal. After some savings, plenty of research, and several enjoyable talks with my wife/KH, we decided the Queens Keep had the best look. Previously, I wore a CB-6000s, but we wanted to switch to something more secure that also offered better hygiene.

We debated whether to include the security screw on the QK without fully deciding, but while ordering I figured why not and went for the high-security version. It should make a nice little surprise when it arrives. My longest lockup so far has been 14 days, and we hope to eventually reach month-long periods with the QK.

I ordered the sizing rings and paid close attention to the measuring instructions as well as comments here about getting the fit right. I’m hopeful I got it correct (being honest with my measurements since spending that much money made me want to get it right). Let the anticipation for my new cage begin.

Congratulations. I am also a proud owner of the Jailbird Model. My advice is that once you find the correct base ring fit, it can be worn indefinitely. It took me three tries to get mine right, and it was worth the effort. Initially, I wore it for three months, but my Mistress wasn't entirely happy with how things went in bed afterward, so she adjusted her approach to its use. I could have kept it on much longer; the key is getting past that initial adjustment period. Best of luck!

You will love the Queen's Keep.

We're taking the view that it looks good and meets our needs, offering a much more substantial feel than one of the CB-x series devices. To be fair, Millers make an excellent entry-level option, but we wanted something robust enough for longer lockup explorations. I mentioned saving up for a full belt to my wife/KH a few times, but she either showed no interest or rejected it based on how it looked.

In my humble opinion, the Queen's Keep has the best aesthetics in its line. My keyholder agrees with me, and we are very happy with how it performs so far. You both made the right call (in more ways than one!)

I've really enjoyed my QK. I usually wear it for a full week, taking it off on the weekend to give those (small) missed areas a thorough shave. I had a few minor irritation episodes, mostly due to wearing blue jeans at that time. Once I returned to office work and switched back to trousers, there were no issues.

My QK arrived yesterday. I was amazed by how sturdy it felt and that it wasn't as heavy as I feared; the craftsmanship is clearly visible. Last night marked one more adventure with my wife before starting the break-in period for the QK. It has been on me for a little over 12 hours now. After just one day, I can say it is remarkably more comfortable than either the CB-3000 or CB-6000s ever were for me. I had originally planned to wear it for only a few hours, take it off, and head out to a baseball game this evening before trying it on overnight. However, because of its initial comfort, I decided to risk wearing it to the game instead. Even with temperatures in the low 40s and a strong breeze cutting through the stands, it was not uncomfortable at all. I don't think I could have made it through a ballgame with one of my previous CB devices on. Overall, my initial reaction is positive. The only minor issue was getting started with the security screw. However, having read another forum post about this beforehand, I knew patience would be needed. Like them, this was both the first time putting the device on and trying to insert the screw simultaneously. We shall see how it goes after a few more attempts.
