I have a fondness for my CB-6K, yet two issues have always bothered me:
- It can pull out
- Morning erections This particular belt seems to address both concerns effectively in my case. While I recall hearing about this approach some time ago, it wasn’t well documented, so I decided to share the details here for anyone else who might find it useful. The modification is straightforward and removable, making it accessible for almost everyone. It utilizes two main parts: 3/8” ID vinyl tubing and welded-link chain (also 3/8”). The tools needed are a sharp utility knife or small scissors; plus either bolt cutters, dremel tool with cutting disc, or a hacksaw. I initially cut the hose about 6 inches longer than necessary, along with slightly extra length on the chain, then threaded the chain through. The fit was quite snug, which made threading the chain into the tube a bit of a challenge. To help, I used a vacuum cleaner to draw some nylon pull-cord (typically used for routing phone/cable/data cables) through the tubing. After tying one end of the cord to the chain and securing the other end to something stable (my Mistress), I added silicon lube inside the tube to reduce friction. Then, I worked on massaging the hose down over the entire length of the chain. Once fully seated, I did some test fittings before trimming the tubing with small scissors for a tighter fit. As you can see in the first photo, there is still a bit of dangling chain behind the tube because I haven’t cut it yet, but this hasn’t caused any real issues. I purchased these materials at my local Home Depot. The total cost was roughly $8-$10 for 4 feet of chain and 10 feet of hose. I believe the chain is electro-galvanized, which should help prevent rusting. Additionally, since the vinyl tubing covers it, the metal doesn’t touch my skin directly. My only minor concern is whether long-term exposure to skin oils might degrade the vinyl material over time; however, I’m not entirely sure if standard vinyl is particularly sensitive to oil. The pictures below illustrate how this setup attaches to my CB-6K and provide a close-up view of the chain.
Looks good... I'll stop by Home Depot during my lunch break.
Vinyl can be susceptible to oil damage, though it would likely take a long time for that to happen. There probably isn't much else readily available in such a large inner diameter size. One could perhaps use nylon pneumatic tube with picture hanging wire threaded through instead...
During our chat the other day, cks brought up using old-style bike locks... they are very similar... featuring a rubber or vinyl covered chain along with that cheesy barrel-shaped lock which could be kept in place, removed entirely, or repurposed for another use... <giggles> This approach gives you the assembled chain and tube right away; you would only need to trim them to fit. Depending on the design, they might stay secured just by using locks without welding... Oh, I nearly forgot to mention the key point I wanted to add... yes, I am able to pull out with this setup, but it isn't particularly helpful. Before my points were installed... pulling out allowed me to re-insert easily enough. However, with the points in place, even if I exert maximum effort to pull out completely so that the shaft is free, the balls remain trapped inside and cannot move back. This causes additional stretching of the skin. To make matters worse, once pulled out while wearing the points, getting back into a comfortable position becomes difficult... or at least not as comfortable as it was before I started dealing with this issue... well, being stubbornly bad... <blush> So eventually, I would end up stuck halfway in and half out—stretched and sore—or merely 'half-assed' back in while still hurting... I've learned to just leave everything alone once the device is properly seated.
Regarding your cb-x000 chain belt: does the chain simply encircle the waist? Or does an extended section pass through under your waist and up between your cheeks to reconnect at the back of the main loop?
