I’m not entirely certain, but this could be a new mod of my own making. At least I haven’t come across it before.

I removed the spacer and shortened the bar that supports it. Then I drilled a fresh hole to get the fit JUST right. Now I can slide the device on without needing the spacer; it’s significantly smaller, which makes for much better comfort in my opinion.

The tricky part was drilling that hole—you need to find exactly the right drill-bit size so the lock passes through smoothly, and then you have to bore it as perfectly straight as possible. It took me two attempts, but gosh, it was well worth it!

I also trimmed down those two side posts so they sit flush without sticking out, yet still keep the cage stable.

I’ll make an effort to snap some photos next time I remove it; I’m a bit too shy to pose while wearing it.

I cut the two side posts as well to keep them flush with the end of the cage. Unfortunately, I still need both the shortest spacer and the second-shortest locking post when wearing the lock "upside down". I'd love to see some photos of your modification. Did you have to switch to a larger base ring after getting rid so much of that "dick space"? Thank you.
