Recently, my knockoff CB-6K gave up the ghost in a way that made repair impractical, prompting me to explore other choices. Putting it on was always quite an ordeal, even when soft, so I found larger options like the Bird Cage particularly attractive. Upon receiving mine, I managed to don it right away—a significant step forward for me. Passing through the ring (available in 2” and a smaller 1.75”) felt smooth; the size is manageable. By contrast, my old CB-6K demanded plenty of lubrication or shower use. Since this device isn’t stainless steel, I’ve been using a plastic lock instead and ensuring it’s thoroughly dried post-shower. Stainless would be nice, but the Bird Cage feels robust. Keep in mind that the lock is what actually attaches the cage to the ring; if you go too thin on your locks, those guide pins might slip out of their slots. Also, padlocks with thicker shackles might not turn all the way to center properly. It includes a thinner-shackle padlock that sits flat against the cage. I use a Master lock which has a thicker shackle: while you can thread the straight section through, the curved part doesn’t fit as well. This leaves the lock positioned at roughly 90 degrees from how it usually rests. I’ve now worn the Bird Cage continuously for seven days and find it very comfortable. Occasionally I notice indentations on my scrotum, but they aren’t painful. Pubic hairs growing near the ring can itch a bit, though nothing severe. When trying to get an erection, this cage stays closer to my body than my previous one did, which helps greatly with comfort. The cage is fairly long—about an inch longer than strictly necessary—but works well as a standard off-the-shelf option. It curves backward nicely rather than jutting straight out just like the CB-6K. Tight underwear are essential for me; wearing it under boxers creates too much bulk, causing either the cage or the lock to poke out. However, I’ve discovered that thongs work well to keep everything tucked back and centered, preventing any awkward bulges down the legs. The gaps on the side make standing urination straightforward; I usually use my fingertip to guide the stream through them. These openings also help with washing and keeping clean, which is easier than dealing with a fully enclosed cage like the CB-X. Sleep-wise, it works well whether I’m lying on my back or side. Stomach sleeping is fine too without risking damage to the structure. Overall, I’m pleased with this piece of equipment. At $80, it offers good value. I actually do have some queries. Why didn't you just get one on eBay for $10.99? Have you experienced any issues with chrome or cadmium poisoning so far, or is Chinese Chrome distinct from other types?

Mascara^Snake I did notice the note that it "Comes with a handy carrying pouch for easy transport," which might have been the deciding factor. Then again - I would assume people carry cages elsewhere anyway;)
