I’ve been wondering…why are there so many guests?? Are you scared to sign up for this great site?? Just popping by because you’re bored with the routine day?? Feeling lazy? Timid? I constantly notice that it’s not just a handful of visitors, but quite a few of you…hanging around, reading, and maybe dreaming about joining but holding back. What do you think is going on? I know you can read this message; you might hesitate to reply, yet your eyes are here…hummm…that feels like being gaged in a way LOL—you see everything but stay silent!!:bondage: It’s a bit of pity really, since this place is truly WONDERFUL and you seem reluctant to become part of the community…In any case, I wanted to say hi to everyone hiding behind their ‘guest’ badge and extend an invitation for you all to join us out in the open!:sex020: Mistress Michelle:sex020:

Mistress Michelle: To speak only for myself,... I became interested in Chastity around 2004. It was this past May that I had the piercing done for my Lori tube. For me, it involved a series of "baby steps" before stepping "out," so to speak. Now I find myself both curious and apprehensive about where things will head. (The tube I ordered can be made permenant with a bit of JB weld or epoxy, or by simply smashing the keys.) -- Lori tube -- #4, curved, hooded. So Mistress Michelle,... perhaps those babysteps make sense... and remaining anonymous is an easy way to gradually enter this path. --darcy

Hello Keys4Tiffany and everyone else. While I certainly understand the hesitation about coming out, please keep in mind that one of the beauties of creating an alias here is that you preserve your personal identity privately. I agree with Mistress Michelle; no matter how new or nervous you are, just sign up, introduce yourself, and get involved. You might bring something valuable for us all to learn from, and rest assured you will meet and make new friends who can help guide you along the way!!!

Good point Mistress Michelle! We have lots and LOTS of guests... maybe one day they will muster enough courage to become members. We don't bite! (Unless you ask very nicely!):haha4:

From my own experience, I felt instantly safe and welcome on this site. I believe I was a member for only a few days before I started posting and actively participating in the forum. You can look at my diary photos to realize how secure I feel about this place. I wouldn’t give up these benefits easily if we moved elsewhere. Any guests are welcome here. Don’t be afraid to say hello. :CMrocks:

*I'll bet the same "guests" keep showing up repeatedly. Drawn in like moths to a flame but too afraid of their own desires to join the discussion. It's not an issue with the site itself - they simply need encouragement in just the right way....* :spankwhip::sex020::smilies_xxx22:

Miss D - your response implies you believe most of the 'lurkers' are men, but I myself 'lurked' - both here and elsewhere - for a while trying to wrap my head around everything. I also think this is the top spot for women and generally anyone new to chastity. As others have mentioned, members can protect their identities, but for some of us, it's about first deciding whether you're going to 'give it a go,' and then building confidence until you feel happy sharing experiences and seeking advice. I've only been at this for about four months myself. I wouldn't claim supreme confidence yet, but I have attempted things just a few months ago that I never would have imagined doing. It seems to evolve as you progress along. Getting input from others has been really helpful - I think it takes some time to reach the stage where you feel comfortable enough to participate fully and offer advice to others.

Dollyanne wonders if some of the "guests" are actually members who simply haven't logged in recently. Dolly has been known to quickly check the site for new posts without logging in herself. Are there other members who do this? If so, that might explain at least a portion of them. Curtsies and Huggs,:manga_festive: dollyanne
