What I want from a man has no sexual element in it at all

Posted as nothing_sexual_either, 1 September 2026, from Didsbury

Wants
a man who wants to be depended on rather than desired
Experience
Twenty three years leading, two arrangements, one of them twelve years.
Around
Didsbury, Manchester

The arrangement I am describing has nothing sexual in it. Not held back, not waiting to be earned, not a possibility being kept in reserve. I run a household and I want a man in it who is useful and answerable to me, and that is the entire proposition. Men seem to find this much harder to believe when a woman says it than when another man does.

Fifty six, Didsbury, twenty three years leading, two arrangements and one of them twelve years long.

The twelve year one was exactly this. He had his own house, his own life, and eventually his own girlfriend, who knew about me and was perfectly relaxed once she had met me. Two days a week he ran my household to a standard I set, and in twelve years the question never once came up between us.

What I want again is domestic and long. Standing duties, a fixed day, high standards, and a man who wants to be depended on rather than wanted.

Nothing is for hire and there is no money in this in either direction, which on this subject in particular people assume even faster than usual. What I do not want is a man who reads no sexual element as a challenge, or as something that will change once we know each other. It will not, and I would far rather lose your interest now than in October.

Where this one puts you on the route

If you read this one twice, you are at stage four whether you meant to arrive there or not. Nearly everything that goes wrong from here goes wrong in the first message.

  1. 04 Read her stated instructions before you write a word
  2. 04 Writing the first message, with two short ones in full
  3. 04 The seven openers that get deleted unread
