Wanted · Manchester · Service and duty
I am a woman and what I offer is a pair of hands, not a partner
- Wants
- a woman who inspects the work and has me do it again
- Experience
- Five years of standing duties in one household, and three years without.
- Around
- Salford, Manchester
I am a woman, I want to serve a woman who leads, and what I am offering is entirely practical. The house, the errands, the standing jobs, done to her standard on a day she picks. I have read a hundred adverts on here and not one was written by somebody like me, so I am assuming I am not the only one and writing accordingly.
Forty four, Salford, I work in a school kitchen in term time, which leaves me the holidays and most afternoons.
What I want is duty rather than romance and I would rather be blunt than leave it hanging. I am not looking for a relationship, there is nothing sexual in this, and I would be perfectly happy serving a woman who has a husband, a wife, an arrangement of her own or none of the above.
What makes it work for me is being answerable. Somebody who inspects, says it is not right, and has me do it again without softening any of it. I had that for five years and I have not had it since, and I have been unmistakably worse without it.
No money in either direction, ever. What I do not want is to be treated as a friend who helps out, which is what happens when nobody sets a standard, and which is how a good arrangement quietly becomes an unpaid favour that neither person can end politely.
Where this one puts you on the route
Offering to be useful is a commitment measured in hours a week, not in enthusiasm. These three run from what that costs to what the first meeting looks like.
- 01 What a dynamic actually involves, shape by shape
- 02 The venue types that work, with honest odds
- 05 The first meeting, and why protocol stays at home

The part I want is being trusted with the house when nobody is in it
Wants: years of dull reliability, and no shortcut to the trusted part
-
I want the list on the fridge to be mine to clear
Wants: somebody who inspects the work and sends it back
-
People keep describing what I want as helping out, and it is not
Wants: instructions that are not softened into requests
-
I served one woman for eleven years and have done nothing since
Wants: the same shape of arrangement rather than the same woman
