Looking for a Mistress in Amsterdam

Amsterdam takes away the excuse every other city hands out. Nothing is far, so no man can claim the geography beat him, and what remains is whether he was worth answering. Replies arrive quickly here and a fair number of them are no, which newcomers mistake for rudeness and which is really an economy of time. Housing is the genuine constraint instead. A great many people share or sublet, so where anything could be conducted comes up in the first week rather than the second month.

Posts come from the west, the east, Noord, the south and out by the ring. People lead with their quarter of the city because in a search it decides more than anything else they could tell you about themselves.
